Brandon joined the Army in April of 2003. He spent his 20 years as a 92G, Food Service Specialist. He has 3 combat deployments, 2 to Iraq (2005-2006 with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment) (2008-2009 with the 1st Battalion, 67th Armored Regiment, 4th Infantry Division) and 1 to Afghanistan (2011-2012 also with the 1st Battalion, 67th Armored Regiment, 4th Infantry Division) while stationed at Ft. Carson, Co. He did 2 hardship tours to Korea, his first being his first duty station from 2003-2004. His second tour was from 2018-2019. He retired in May of 2023 while stationed at Ft. Bliss, Tx.
Brandon grew up playing golf as his father managed a golf course in Montana. He spent his childhood and teenage years on the golf course and competed on his high school golf team, playing varsity all 4 years. Growing up and working on the golf course gave Brandon the opportunity to understand all the aspects of the game of golf, as well as the golf industry. This formed Brandon’s passion for the game.
It was during his second tour in Korea that he met Josh Sears. They played many rounds of golf while there and became battle buddies, that continues to this day. It is because of their friendship, that Brandon joined the 100FORE22 foundation. He is excited to be a part of a foundation focused on helping Veterans and First Responders by bringing awareness through the game of golf.
