He earned his Associates Degree in Aerospace Applied Sciences and is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University for his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health and Addiction. Joshua joined the Air Force in January of 2012, shortly after graduating high school the previous year. In May of 2012 he attended Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio Texas. Following Basic Training, he attended Technical School in Wichita Falls, Texas and Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. Following training, in 2014 he was temporarily stationed at Hill AFB, Utah providing heavy aircraft maintenance assistance on C130H aircraft from other branches. While assigned to Hill AFB he started full time in his home unit, the 143rd Airlift Wing. He spent three years providing in depth training in the Phase Dock which completes mandatory large scale maintenance inspections required for aging aircraft. Following his three year tenure, he transitioned to their flight line where he has resided as a Dedicated Crew Chief and Assistant Crew Chief while becoming an AGR which he still does until this current day. During his time, he has deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Freedom Sentinel which occurred during 2016 and most recently 2019. From the young age of 8 Joshua has been golfing when he was introduced by his godfather. He played high school golf competitively for four years. Following high school, golf faded some due to the military but during 2017 Josh Sears got him back into it. Joshua used the game of golf as a form of therapy in which he still does to this day. He feels that golf and the 100Fore22 foundation can positively impact Veterans and First Responders through this phenomenal game. This is also what has helped Joshua strive to obtain his Psychology degree which he will use to positively impact Veterans and First Responders and assist them through their every day struggles!
